The System

Nizza Yoga™ is based on the scientific master system Yoga in Daily Life®, authored by Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda, who is a living descendant of a long line of respected yogis. While completely true to the authentic tradition of classic Yoga, it is designed to meet the needs of our modern times. It is a holistic system of health, encompassing the science of body, mind, consciousness and soul. The design of this System offers gradual and steady development, regardless of the practitioner's age or physical condition. It is open to everyone. Regular and dedicated practice of Nizza Yoga™ will reap many benefits.

 

 

The System Levels

The System consists of eight progressive levels.

Every session in each of the eight levels starts with anti-stress relaxation. Relaxation is followed by the practice of Asanas (postures), the practice of Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Self-Inquiry Meditation techniques.

These techniques evolve in complexity as practitioners advance through the System. Practice of the eight levels of the System provides the practitioner with the ability to inquire more deeply into the spiritual aspects of human existence.

 

All techniques have clear, guided, step-by-step instructions of the exercises with special instruction for specific health conditions. Among them are:

 

Relaxation

To achieve the full benefit of the exercises, it is necessary to learn how to relax correctly.

 

Asanas

The first “pillar” of the Yoga exercises are Asanas, which denote specific positions that can be held in a relaxed and comfortable manner for a long period of time.

 

Pranayama

Second “pillar” of the Yoga exercises is Pranayama, the conscious and deliberate control and regulation of breath.

 

Meditation

Technique of Self-Inquiry Meditation helps us to attain Self-Knowledge through self-control and self-development.

 

Also presented in detail are Bandhas and Hatha Yoga Kriyas.

 

 

 

This gives anyone the opportunity to establish well-being by practicing within their own environment and abilities. There is also a great deal of information given on the philosophic and scientific background of Yoga.

 

Furthermore, our system provides full guidance in striving for Self-Realisation, whilst fulfilling all of one's social and family obligations.

 

Today, the Yoga in Daily Life® is established all over the world and taught in more than 4000 Yoga Centers, Educational Centers and Public Health Institutions. Nizza Yoga™ is our contribution to these noble efforts, here in Scandinavia.
